We are currently seeking an experienced qualified ASC Specialist Teaching assistant for an outstanding special educational need trust in Plymouth. The Supply Register areproud to be exclusively recruiting for teaching assistants to work part of the Transforming Future Trust multi academy trust, Our client is seeking a motivated, creative and experienced ASC Specialist teaching assistant to join their friendly and inclusive school.
An exciting opportunity has risen in a fantastic primary school in the heart of Plymouth for an experienced ASC SPECIALIST teaching assistant. You must be able to work within a primary setting and be confident in assisting a teacher in delivering a well-structured lesson. Excellent knowledge of phonics is crucial and experience working children of low ability is a must.
The position is set to commence immediately on a full-time basis for the duration of 2 school terms until Summer 2021.
The successful applicant will:
- Experience working with pupils on the autistic spectrum
- have a minimum of 1 years experience within a similar role
- be dynamic and hard working with a positive nature
- will have a clear DBS on the update service
- be dedicated to raising standards and be a good role model
- be able to use his/her own initiative, showing resilience
- Be a driver
